Fixed terminals or fixed card readers are the least expensive. They do not have a battery and are permanently connected to electricity. This type of terminal cannot, therefore, be moved. They are countertop payment terminals and generally operate over PSTN or IP (with Internet).

Portable terminals or portable card readers have a battery. They are therefore mobile inside your shop. These devices must be connected to the terminal base for authorization requests and remote collection. This connection can be made via cable, infrared, Bluetooth or WiFi.

Mobile terminals or mobile card readers are terminals that work with a SIM card and connect to 4G/3G mobile networks. They are useful for retailers on the move and taxis as well as locations with poor WIFI signals.

Sylq’s Pay by Crypto allows you to accept cryptocurrency payments from your customers. 

To complete a Crypto payment, your customers need to scan the QR code on your device or open the payment link sent to them by email or SMS. With Pay by Crypto, you get paid in fiat currency so you don’t have to handle any cryptocurrency yourself.

Sylq allows you to pay with a cryptocurrency of your choice. Simply scan the QR code with the camera of your phone on the merchant’s device or open the payment link sent to you via SMS or email. You can then pay directly through your crypto app. To do this, choose the blockchain and cryptocurrency, then copy the amount and send it to the specified address.

Sylq allows you to accept Open banking payments with Pay by Bank. To complete an Open banking payment, your customers need to scan the QR code on your device or open the payment link sent to them by email or SMS. After this is done they need to authorise the transaction on their mobile banking app.

Sylq allows you to easily make Open banking payments. Simply scan the QR code on the merchant’s device or open the payment link sent to you via SMS or email. You can then pay directly through your mobile banking app.

When you want to launch a crypto payment, the transaction amount is frozen for 20 minutes. This leaves you and your client a 10-minute window to complete the transaction. If the transaction isn’t completed in that time, you will have to generate a new QR code.

The application will display a “Payment Complete” screen.

The payment terminals we offer are professional devices designed to work with a number of banks, including all the major French banks. To use them you must have a direct debit number (issued by a bank after signing a direct debit agreement) and its associated electronic payment gateway.
